Java Time
Friends of Sutherland Performing Arts holds a special get-together for parents before each performance at school. We call this Java Time, and all are welcome to join us in the auditorium lobby for a free cup of coffee and casual conversation.
On the evening of a music concert or theatre production, parents need to drop students off at a designated time before the performance begins. As parents, we are left with a little bit of awkward “down time,” looking for something to do before we take our seats. FoSPA would like to encourage parents to be sociable and to get to know one another. So we have established Java Time to fill that void.
